Let's Name and Shame
Let’s Name and Shame is the first public group on Facebook that its members share advertisements, articles or any material shared in the media that includes sexism. The objective of this group is to spread awareness and present how advertisements and media show a problematic image of women and men.
Our Mission
Βe an Ally Foundation is a social catalyst for equality, diversity and inclusion. Our aim is to change norms and standards that are not facilitating equality for all.

The Foundation
Be an ally Foundation is changing the discourse of equality and inclusion in Cyprus, by implementing initiatives that focus on inclusive practices, addressed to the civil society, as well as to public and private organisations. The Foundation, through its action shows how the already established standards and norms influence our reality, reinforce stereotypes and prejudices and support the structures that create institutional and social inequalities.
The launch of the Foundation was supported by the U.S. Embassy in Cyprus (2021).
The Team
The founders of Be an Ally Foundation are Panagiota Polykarpou, Eftychia Nearchou and Elenitsa Onisiforou. We are a diverse team of professionals with experience on inclusion, diversity, and social justice issues. We are passionate about creating positive change in Cyprus. With their unique skill sets and shared vision, we are committed to advancing the foundation's mission of promoting equality, inclusivity, and intersectionality in the community. Through innovative initiatives and educational activities, we hope to inspire others to become allies for change and work towards a more equitable and just society.
